How to Identify Silk and Viscose
Observing gloss:
The sheen of the silk fabric is soft and even, bright but not glaring. The rayon fabric is bright but not soft. Although the gloss of polyester yarn is uniform, there is flash or bright silk. Nylon silk fabrics have a poor gloss, as if they were coated with a layer of wax. Hand touch feeling. There is a handle when you touch the silk fabric, but other chemical products do not. Rayon fabric is smooth and soft, but not stiff. Cotton silk fabric is not soft to the touch.
Scrutinize the creases:
When the hand is pinched and then released, there is no crease due to its elasticity. The rayon fabric has obvious creases after hand pinching, and the creases are difficult to restore. Although the nylon silk fabric has creases, it can slowly restore its original shape, so it must not be confused by its falsehood.
Combustion method：
Because of the silk blend, silk is not necessarily 100% silk after one latitude. The silk is flame retardant, there is no open flame, no smell, and it is powdered after rubbing it by hand.
